Group Coaching

Group Coaching is a structured, facilitated process for supporting leaders at any level of the organization. Multiple sessions are designed to create a confidential and safe environment in which participants can learn with and from each other and the facilitator, as they navigate leading in today’s challenging environments. Sessions combine a mix of teaching, peer coaching, and strategizing. Groups are limited in size to promote learning.

We help your organization:

Identify which level(s) of the organization would most benefit from Group Coaching and create criteria for participation.

Determine the scope of the program, including number and frequency of sessions.

Develop a prioritized set of topics for learning, in partnership with participants and leadership.

Team Coaching

One of the most important partnerships in an organization is the one between members of the same team. We support teams in achieving their shared purpose and goals in both outcomes (productivity) and process (relationships). Depending on the needs and goals of our clients, we develop a tailored approach that ranges from discrete and specific areas of development to an entire Team Coaching process that provides teams with the skills and abilities to continue coaching itself long after the engagement.

A shared vision and purpose, one that aligns with the needs of key constituents.

Shared operating norms and expectations.

Concrete strategies for effective collaboration and communication.

Coaching skills and practices to enable the team to operate at its highest level of effectiveness.

Organizational development theory and models that foster effective team work.

A strengths-based approach that enables members to understand and take full advantage of their individual and collective talents.

Structured and facilitated conversations to address team issues, challenges, and needs.

A mix of experiential and didactic activities to tap the group’s energy and inspire creativity.

Ongoing assessment with opportunities for mid-course shifts in content and structure.

Beginning with a needs assessment with team members to identify strengths and areas for development, engagements may include any or all of the following:

“Dorel has been an inspiration to my team in helping us gain a greater understanding of ourselves, how we impact the teams we lead, and moreover, how we shape organizational culture. The increased engagement and participation over the past year Dorel has worked with us has been extremely encouraging. Our work with Dorel is not yet done — I look forward to continuing."
